3M 2080 High Gloss Colour Change Wrap Film

2080 High Gloss is a series of 4.5mil, premium grade high gloss cast wrap films.  2080HG is 3D conformable, without limitations, for smooth and easy installation, with improved stretch to provide improved installation around curves and channels. An improved adhesive offers less glue marking. This film has a low-density polyethylene film layer over the top of the films surface, which remains in place during installation and is removed easily after application. This leaves the film itself free from scratches or other surface imperfections such as hazing or mottling. The protective film liner is also recyclable.

2080HG is a multi-layer cast adhesive backed film for full colour vehicle wraps, accents, or partial decocration wraps. It is more conformable, easier to install film compared to older versions of 3M Wrap Film, requiring less heat during installation. Offer a bold assortment of colours, 2080HG offers 250% better reflected image quality over a typical premium cast vinyl wrap film, providing a mirror-like apperance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After the film has been applied, apply heat to the graphic to reduce the internal stress in the vinyl film. Adjust the heat source so that the film temperature reaches 200 to 225°F (93 to 107°C). Move the heat source slowly across the stretched film surface. For best performance, press the stretched areas of film with 3M Roller S while the vinyl is still hot. This helps fully wet-out the adhesive onto the substrate and reduces the risk of lifting.

This series offers an improved warranty of Canadian Zone 2, vertical up to 7 years and horizontal up to 2 years.
